श्रद्धां तस्य विदित्वा तु भूयस्तृप्तास्तु देवताः । आगत्य ब्राह्मणं प्रोचुः कूपमध्ये व्यवस्थितम्

śraddhāṃ tasya viditvā tu bhūyastṛptāstu devatāḥ | āgatya brāhmaṇaṃ procuḥ kūpamadhye vyavasthitam

Als die Gottheiten seine Glaubenskraft erkannten, wurden sie noch mehr zufrieden. Da kamen sie herbei und sprachen zu dem Brāhmaṇa, der sich mitten im Brunnen befand.
