Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 48

अकारणं तु यः कश्चिद्द्विजः प्राणान्परित्यजेत् । तस्यैव तत्र दोषः स्यान्न तु योऽस्मै ददाति तत्

akāraṇaṃ tu yaḥ kaściddvijaḥ prāṇānparityajet | tasyaiva tatra doṣaḥ syānna tu yo'smai dadāti tat

Wenn jedoch irgendein Dvija (Zweimalgeborener) ohne Grund sein Leben aufgibt, so liegt die Schuld allein bei ihm und nicht bei dem, der ihm jene Hilfe gewährt.
