इति दत्ते तदा शाप ऋषीणां च महात्मनाम् । गौरीं प्रसादयामासुस्ते च सर्वे सुरेश्वराः
iti datte tadā śāpa ṛṣīṇāṃ ca mahātmanām | gaurīṃ prasādayāmāsuste ca sarve sureśvarāḥ
Als jener Fluch so über die großherzigen ṛṣi ausgesprochen war, suchten all jene Herren unter den Göttern die erhabene Gaurī zu besänftigen.
