Type: kshetra
Listener: The addressed listener urged to hear attentively (likely the same ‘varārohe’ interlocutor)
Scene: Sage Vasiṣṭha, radiant and composed, stands before Vāmanasvāmin’s icon; he sings an ancient gāthā while listeners sit in attentive silence, hands folded, in a temple courtyard lit by lamps.
Purāṇic authority is reinforced through sages’ testimony; attentive listening to such praise is itself a devotional practice.
The Vāmanasvāmin/Viṣṇu-footprint tīrtha context within Prabhāsakṣetra-māhātmya.
A devotional instruction: to listen attentively to the sacred gāthā (śravaṇa).
