दशरथस्य शोकानुचिन्तनं शब्धवेधि-दोषस्मरणं च

अविज्ञाय फलं यो हि कर्म त्वेवानुधावति।स शोचेत्फलवेलायां यथा किंशुकसेचकः।।2.63.9।।

যে ফল না জেনে কেবল কর্মে ছুটে যায়, সে ফলের সময়ে তেমনি শোক করে—যেমন ফলের আশায় কিঞ্চুক বৃক্ষকে জল দেওয়া ব্যক্তি।
