守持誓戒,我将日日在那些莲池中沐浴;与你同在,广目之人啊,我将嬉游其间,充满至上的欢喜。
Thus living in your company for a thousand years or even a hundred thousand years, I shall not feel the passing of time. I shall not desire even heaven.
Joy disciplined by vows: Dharma is not mere hardship, but regulated living (vrata) that sustains purity, devotion, and harmony.
Sītā describes how she will live with discipline in the forest and still find fulfillment with Rāma.
Self-restraint (saṃyama) combined with affectionate devotion—she pairs austerity with committed companionship.
