The Consecration of Rama’s Sandals and Bharata’s Trusteeship at Nandigrama

当迦拘兹陀(罗摩)受灌顶加冕,众人欢欣鼓舞之时,我的喜悦与清名,将是执掌王权之乐的四倍。
After Rama is coronated and the people are delighted and pleased, the renown andpleasure for me will be fourfold (what is obtained from ruling the kingdom).
True fulfillment comes from dharmic order and public happiness, not from personal rule; Bharata values Rama’s coronation as the highest good.
Bharata contrasts the satisfaction of seeing Rama crowned and the people rejoicing with the lesser satisfaction of holding kingship himself.
Detachment from power and concern for collective well-being: his ‘gain’ is the people’s joy under the rightful king.
