पितृमरणश्रवणं जलक्रिया च
Hearing of Daśaratha’s death and the libation rites at Mandākinī
तेषां तु रुदतां शब्दात् प्रतिशब्दोऽभवद् गिरौ।भ्रातॄणां सह वैदेह्या सिंहानां नर्दतामिव।।।।
tēṣāṃ tu rudatāṃ śabdāt pratiśabdo ’bhavad girau |
bhrātṝṇāṃ saha vaidēhyā siṃhānām iva nardatām ||
兄弟们与毗提希一同哭泣，其声在山中回响，宛如群狮咆哮。
