Nityā-paṭala-prakaraṇa
The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
devīṃ cakreṇa sahitāṃ smaredbhaktiyuto naraḥ | vivekā vibhavā viśvā vitatā ca prakīrtitā || 53 ||
Narada (teaching in a Vedanga/ritual-technical context, framed as devotional upasana)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents a focused upāsanā: remembering the Goddess in inseparable association with the cakra, highlighting her as the inner power of discernment and the universal, expansive presence that supports prosperity and spiritual clarity.
Bhakti here is expressed as smaraṇa (devotional recollection/meditation). The devotee contemplates the deity with specific attributes (Vivekā, Vibhavā, Viśvā, Vitatā), turning devotion into steady, attribute-based contemplation.
It reflects an upāsanā-technical method: prescribed visualization (smaraṇa) with a clear iconographic marker (cakra) and defined epithets—typical of ritual/mantra application where precise form and names guide concentration.
