No explicit practice is taught in this line; however, the epithet “bhūtibhūṣaṇam” evokes Śaiva ascetic discipline (bhasma/holy ash, vairāgya), a hallmark of Pāśupata-oriented spirituality emphasized elsewhere in the Kūrma Purāṇa.
