यक्ष उवाच । वरं प्रयच्छसि यदि विप्रवर्य मदीप्सितम् । ममांगमतिदुर्गंधि शापाच्च नृपतेरभूत् । सुगन्धयितुं ब्रह्मर्षे तत्प्रसीद मुनीश्वर
yakṣa uvāca | varaṃ prayacchasi yadi vipravarya madīpsitam | mamāṃgamatidurgaṃdhi śāpācca nṛpaterabhūt | sugandhayituṃ brahmarṣe tatprasīda munīśvara
Yakṣa thưa: “Nếu ngài ban ân huệ, hỡi bậc tối thượng trong hàng Bà-la-môn, xin ban điều ta mong cầu. Thân ta đã trở nên hôi thối tột cùng vì lời nguyền của một vị vua. Hỡi bậc Brahmarṣi, xin đoái thương, hỡi chúa tể các hiền triết—hãy làm cho ta được thơm ngát.”
