Transliteration

agastya uvāca | viṣṇuśarmeti vikhyātaḥ purābhūdbrāhmaṇottamaḥ | vedavedāṃgatattvajño dharmakarmasamāśritaḥ

Translation

Agastya thưa: Thuở xưa có một vị Bà-la-môn tối thượng, nổi danh là Viṣṇuśarman. Ông thấu triệt chân lý của Veda và Vedāṅga, và an trú trong bổn phận chính pháp cùng hạnh nghiệp thanh tịnh.
