Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 184

बिंबेनांतरितो देवि आदित्यग्रहणं हि तत् । न कश्चिद्ग्रसितुं शक्त आदित्यो दहति ध्रुवम्

biṃbenāṃtarito devi ādityagrahaṇaṃ hi tat | na kaścidgrasituṃ śakta ādityo dahati dhruvam

Hỡi Nữ Thần, khi đĩa che khuất xen vào làm Mặt Trời bị mờ đi, đó gọi là “nhật thực”. Nhưng không ai có thể thật sự nuốt Mặt Trời, vì Āditya chắc chắn thiêu đốt mọi đối nghịch.
