Transliteration

tataśca maṃtribhiḥ sarvaiḥ śaṃtanustasya cānujaḥ | pitṛpaitāmahe rājye satvaraṃ sanniyojitaḥ

Translation

Sau đó, bởi toàn thể quần thần, người em là Śaṃtanu được mau chóng tôn lập lên ngôi trong vương quốc tổ truyền của cha và các bậc tiên vương.
