उपवासपरो यस्तु तस्मिंस्तीर्थे नराधिप । स्नात्वा ह्युक्तविधानेन तर्पयेत्पितृदेवताः

upavāsaparo yastu tasmiṃstīrthe narādhipa | snātvā hyuktavidhānena tarpayetpitṛdevatāḥ

Nhưng ai chuyên tâm giữ chay (upavāsa) tại tīrtha ấy, hỡi bậc chúa của loài người—sau khi tắm theo nghi thức đã truyền dạy—hãy dâng tarpaṇa lên các Pitṛ và chư thiên.
