न शूद्राय मतिं दद्यान्नोच्छिष्टं न हविष्कृतम् । न चास्योपदिशेद्धर्मं न चास्य व्रतमादिशेत्
na śūdrāya matiṃ dadyānnocchiṣṭaṃ na haviṣkṛtam | na cāsyopadiśeddharmaṃ na cāsya vratamādiśet
Chớ truyền lời khuyên cho một Śūdra; chớ ban cho người ấy đồ ăn thừa, cũng chớ trao lễ vật đã chuẩn bị như havis. Cũng không nên dạy dharma cho người ấy, và không nên ấn định vrata (lời nguyện) cho người ấy.
