शिवस्य विश्वव्याप्तिः—अष्टमूर्तिः पञ्चब्रह्म च | Śiva’s Cosmic Pervasion: Aṣṭamūrti and the Pañcabrahma Forms
संजीवनं समस्तस्य जगतस्सलिलात्मिका । भावीति गीयते मूर्तिभवस्य परमात्मनः । बहिरंतर्गता विश्वं व्याप्य तेजोमयी शुभा । रौद्री रुद्राव्यया मूर्तिरास्थिता घोररूपिणी
saṃjīvanaṃ samastasya jagatassalilātmikā | bhāvīti gīyate mūrtibhavasya paramātmanaḥ | bahiraṃtargatā viśvaṃ vyāpya tejomayī śubhā | raudrī rudrāvyayā mūrtirāsthitā ghorarūpiṇī
Nàng là năng lực phục sinh của toàn thể vũ trụ, mang bản tính của nước. Vì thế nàng được ca tụng là “Bhāvī”, uy lực hiển lộ của Đại Ngã Tối Thượng khi hóa hiện thành hình tướng. Bao trùm khắp thế giới, ngoài và trong, nàng cát tường, rực sáng bằng quang huy. Nàng an trụ như Rudrā bất hoại—Roudrī trong hình tướng—dáng vẻ uy nghiêm đáng sợ.
