अयं पुनान उषसो वि रोचयदयं सिन्धुभ्यो अभवदु लोककृत् । अयं त्रिः सप्त दुदुहान आशिरं सोमो हृदे पवते चारु मत्सरः ॥

ayáṃ punāná uṣáso ví rocayad ayáṃ síndhubhyo abhavad u loka-kṛ́t | ayáṃ tríḥ saptá duduhāná āśíraṃ sómo hṛdé pavate cā́ru matsaráḥ ||

Chính Soma này, đang tự thanh tẩy, làm cho các Bình minh (Uṣas) rực sáng; chính vị này trở thành kẻ kiến lập trật tự của thế gian cho các dòng sông (Sindhu). Chính vị này vắt ra lễ dịch hòa trộn (āśir) ba lần bảy; Soma thanh lọc và chảy trong tim—đẹp đẽ trong cơn xuất thần của hoan lạc.
