अस्माकमिन्द्रावरुणा भरेभरे पुरोयोधा भवतं कृष्ट्योजसा । यद्वां हवन्त उभये अध स्पृधि नरस्तोकस्य तनयस्य सातिषु ॥

Transliteration

asmā́kam indrāvaruṇā bháre-bhare puroyodhā́ bhavataṃ kṛ́ṣṭyojasā | yád vāṃ hávanta ubháye ádha spṛdhí náras tókasyá tánayasya sātíṣu ||

Translation

Hỡi Indra và Varuṇa, trong mỗi lần xung trận, xin hãy làm những chiến sĩ tiền phong của chúng ta, bằng sức mạnh nâng đỡ muôn dân. Khi cả hai phía đều kêu cầu các ngài, thì bấy giờ, hỡi các dũng sĩ, xin giành phần thắng cho chúng ta trong những chiến thắng vì đứa con và dòng dõi của chúng ta.
