adhikṛtyābravītsaptakalpavṛttaṃ munivratāḥ | tanmātsyamiti jānīdhvaṃ sahasrāṇi catudarśa

اے پاکیزہ عہد والے رشیو! اس نے سات کلپوں کے واقعات بیان کیے؛ اسے ماتسیہ (پوران) جانو، جو چودہ ہزار شلوکوں پر مشتمل ہے۔
