सूत उवाच । एतस्मिन्नंतरे विप्रो वसिष्ठो लज्जयान्वितः । ज्ञात्वा दत्तं वृथा शापं तस्य भूमिपतेस्तदा
sūta uvāca | etasminnaṃtare vipro vasiṣṭho lajjayānvitaḥ | jñātvā dattaṃ vṛthā śāpaṃ tasya bhūmipatestadā
سوت نے کہا: اسی دوران برہمن وِسِشٹھ شرمندگی سے بھر گیا اور اس وقت اس نے جان لیا کہ اس بادشاہ کو دیا گیا اس کا شاپ (لعنت) بے اثر اور بے کار رہا۔
