तद्दृष्ट्वा सुमहल्लिंगं रुधिराक्तं जलैः प्लुतम् । ब्राह्मणाः संशयगता दह्यमाना वसुन्धरा
taddṛṣṭvā sumahalliṃgaṃ rudhirāktaṃ jalaiḥ plutam | brāhmaṇāḥ saṃśayagatā dahyamānā vasundharā
اس نہایت عظیم لِنگ کو—جو خون سے آلودہ اور پانیوں میں تر تھا—دیکھ کر برہمن شک میں پڑ گئے، اور زمین گویا جلتی ہوئی محسوس ہونے لگی۔
