तथा च ब्रह्मशालायां संस्थितैर्यदुदाहृतम् । नान्यथा तत्परिज्ञेयं हास्येनापि स्मृतिं विना
tathā ca brahmaśālāyāṃ saṃsthitairyadudāhṛtam | nānyathā tatparijñeyaṃ hāsyenāpi smṛtiṃ vinā
اور برہما-شالا میں جو لوگ مجتمع تھے، انہوں نے جو کچھ کہا، اسے اسی معنی میں سمجھنا چاہیے، ورنہ نہیں؛ اگر ہنسی مذاق میں بھی کہا گیا ہو تو بھی، سمْرتی کی یاد اور سند کے بغیر اسے نہ لیا جائے۔
