श्रोता चाप्यथ वक्तारं तदा वाक्यं न रोहति । अथ यः स्वप्रियं ब्रूयाच्छ्रोतुर्वोत्सृज्ययदृतम्
śrotā cāpyatha vaktāraṃ tadā vākyaṃ na rohati | atha yaḥ svapriyaṃ brūyācchroturvotsṛjyayadṛtam
اور اگر سننے والا بھی جواباً بولنے والے کی بے ادبی کرے تو کلام دل میں جڑ نہیں پکڑتا۔ اسی طرح جو شخص سننے والے کے لیے نافع سچ چھوڑ کر اپنی پسند کی بات کہے،
