स तानचिंत्य दैत्येंद्रो देवबाणक्षतान्हृदि । बाणैर्व्योम दिशः पृथ्वीं पूरयामास दानवः
sa tānaciṃtya daityeṃdro devabāṇakṣatānhṛdi | bāṇairvyoma diśaḥ pṛthvīṃ pūrayāmāsa dānavaḥ
مگر وہ دیَتیہ-سردار بےخوف رہا؛ دیوتاؤں کے تیروں سے دل میں زخمی ہونے کے باوجود، اُس دانَو نے اپنے تیروں کی بوچھاڑ سے آسمان، سمتوں اور زمین کو بھر دیا۔
