तदालापामृतधयौ न मे शब्दग्रहौ प्रिये । प्राणेश्वरि तदारभ्य स्यातां शब्दांतरग्रहौ

tadālāpāmṛtadhayau na me śabdagrahau priye | prāṇeśvari tadārabhya syātāṃ śabdāṃtaragrahau

اے محبوبہ—اے میری جان کی مالکہ—اس کی گفتگو کے امرت سے محروم ہونے کے بعد میرے کان اب حقیقی آواز نہیں پکڑتے؛ تب سے وہ صرف ‘دوسری آوازیں’ سنتے ہیں، اس کی صدا سے خالی۔
