यथा कदंबकुसुमं किंजल्कैः सर्वतोवृतम् । देदीप्यमानं हि तथा समंताद्भानुभानुभिः

yathā kadaṃbakusumaṃ kiṃjalkaiḥ sarvatovṛtam | dedīpyamānaṃ hi tathā samaṃtādbhānubhānubhiḥ

جیسے کدمب کا پھول اپنے زرِگل کے ریشوں سے چاروں طرف گھرا ہوا چمکتا ہے، ویسے ہی وہ بھی ہر سمت نور کی کرنوں پر کرنیں لیے دہک رہا تھا۔
