Transliteration

śālatālatamālālī hiṃtālī lakucāvṛtam | lasatsaptacchadāmodaṃ kharjūrīrājirājitam | nārikela tarucchanna nāraṃgīrāgaraṃjitam

Translation

وہ باغ شال، تال اور تمال کے درختوں کی قطاروں سے، نیز ہِنتال اور لکُچ کے درختوں سے گھرا ہوا تھا؛ کھلے ہوئے سپتچھد کی خوشبو سے معطر، کھجوروں کی لڑیوں سے آراستہ؛ ناریل کے درختوں کی چھاؤں میں ڈھکا اور نارنگی کے باغوں کی سرخی سے مزید نکھرا ہوا۔
