धनैरनंधो यत्रास्ति मनो नैव च भोजनम् । अनयः स्यंदनं यत्र न च वै राजपूरुषः
dhanairanaṃdho yatrāsti mano naiva ca bhojanam | anayaḥ syaṃdanaṃ yatra na ca vai rājapūruṣaḥ
جہاں دولت ہی ‘نابینا پن’ کو دور کرنے والی سمجھی جائے، یعنی ہر چیز کا فیصلہ پیسے سے ہو؛ جہاں کھانے میں بھی دل کو سچا قناعت نہ ملے؛ جہاں ناانصافی زندگی کی گاڑی کا رتھ بن جائے اور کوئی راست باز شاہی کارندہ نہ ہو—وہ ملک بے دھرم پہچانا جاتا ہے۔
