Unspecified (Dharmāraṇyakhaṇḍa narrative voice)
Tirtha: Dharmāraṇya
Type: kshetra
Listener: muni (addressed as ‘O sage’)
Scene: A brāhmaṇa practitioner seated in meditation near an āśrama, with symbols of rāga and dveṣa (red/black serpents or flames) dissolving into calm light; elders (buddhāḥ) observe approvingly.
Right conduct must be constant and inner—rooted in freedom from attachment and hatred.
No tīrtha is named; the verse focuses on inner dharma rather than pilgrimage geography.
A behavioral vow is implied: continuous practice of sadācāra with rāga-dveṣa renunciation.
