क्रुद्धैर्देवसमूहैश्च दानवा निहता रणे । तेषां शिरांसि संगृह्य सर्वे देवाः सवासवाः
kruddhairdevasamūhaiśca dānavā nihatā raṇe | teṣāṃ śirāṃsi saṃgṛhya sarve devāḥ savāsavāḥ
غصّے میں بھرے ہوئے دیوتاؤں کے جتھّوں نے میدانِ جنگ میں دانَووں کو قتل کر دیا۔ اُن کے سر جمع کر کے، واسَو (اِندر) سمیت سب دیوتاؤں نے (پھر یوں کیا)۔
