तावन्तो देवदैत्येन्द्राः पक्षाभ्यां तस्य जज्ञिरे । तेषां मध्ये पुनः सा तु नर्मदा भ्रमते सरित्
tāvanto devadaityendrāḥ pakṣābhyāṃ tasya jajñire | teṣāṃ madhye punaḥ sā tu narmadā bhramate sarit
اُس کے دونوں پروں سے اتنے ہی دیوتاؤں اور دیتیوں کے سردار پیدا ہوئے۔ اور اُن کے بیچ پھر وہی نَرمدا ندی گردش کرتی، بہتی رہی۔
