madhumāse site pakṣa ekādaśyāmupoṣitaḥ | niśi jāgaraṇaṃ kuryādviṣṇupādasamīpataḥ

Translation

مدھو ماس (چَیتر) میں، شُکل پکش کی ایکادشی کو، روزہ رکھ کر، وِشنوپاد (قدمِ وشنو) کے مقدّس نشان کے قریب رات بھر جاگَرَن کرنا چاہیے۔
