तच्छ्रुत्वा ब्राह्मणी वाक्यं भीतभीतावदन्नृप । तद्वस्त्रं तु मया विप्र स्नात्वा ह्यन्तः कृतं महत्

tacchrutvā brāhmaṇī vākyaṃ bhītabhītāvadannṛpa | tadvastraṃ tu mayā vipra snātvā hyantaḥ kṛtaṃ mahat

یہ بات سن کر برہمنی خوف سے کانپتی ہوئی بولی، “اے راجن! اے قابلِ تعظیم برہمن! وہ لباس میرے ہاتھ لگ گیا؛ میں نے غسل کر کے اسے اندرونی حصے میں رکھ دیا—یہ مجھ سے بڑی بے ادبی و خطا ہو گئی۔”
