कुम्भकर्णवधश्रवणेन रावणविलापः
Ravana’s Lament on Hearing of Kumbhakarna’s Slaying
अद्यैवतंगमिष्यामिदेशंयत्रानुजोमम ।न हिभ्रातृ़न् समुत्सृज्यक्षणंजीवितमुत्सहे ।।।।
adyaiva taṃ gamiṣyāmi deśaṃ yatrānujo mama |
na hi bhrātṝn samutsṛjya kṣaṇaṃ jīvitam utsahe ||
آج ہی میں اُس دیس کو جاؤں گا جہاں میرا چھوٹا بھائی پڑا ہے؛ کیونکہ اپنے بھائیوں کو چھوڑ کر میں ایک لمحہ بھی جینے کی تاب نہیں رکھتا۔
"O King! Kumbhakarna, who was equal to the God of Death, devoured and won over the Vanaras, scattered the army, has joined death as a consequence of time (fate)."
