Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 9

Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā

तत्तत्सप्तमनीचानि प्राङ्मध्यांत्यांशकाः क्रमात् । वर्गोत्तमाश्चराधेषु भावाद्द्वादश मूर्तिमान् ॥ ९ ॥

tattatsaptamanīcāni prāṅmadhyāṃtyāṃśakāḥ kramāt | vargottamāścarādheṣu bhāvāddvādaśa mūrtimān || 9 ||

ہر ہر بھاو میں ساتواں اَمش نِیچ (کمزوری) کا مقام ہوتا ہے؛ اور اَمش ترتیب سے اوّل، وسط اور آخر حصّوں میں رکھے گئے ہیں۔ چَر وغیرہ بروج میں ورگوتّم کی برتری بھاو سے متعین ہوتی ہے؛ یوں بارہ بھاو اپنے اثرات میں مجسّم ہو جاتے ہیں۔
