राजोवाच
सत्यमुक्तं मया किन्तु भावो दुष्टो न मे मुने ।
नात्र कोपं भवान् कर्तुमर्हत्यस्मासु याचितः ॥

satyam uktaṃ mayā kintu bhāvo duṣṭo na me mune /
nātra kopaṃ bhavān kartum arhaty asmāsu yācitaḥ //
بادشاہ نے کہا—میں نے جو کہا وہ سچ ہے؛ تاہم اے مُنیور، میرا ارادہ بد نہیں۔ اس معاملے میں ہم پر غضب نہ کیجیے—میں آپ سے التجا کرتا ہوں۔
