Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Rudra
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: teaching
It teaches an inner mode of Śaiva worship: the devotee installs siddhis, Śaktis, and the Rudras within a lotus-visualization, turning external ritual into disciplined contemplation that leads the bound soul (paśu) toward Śiva (Pati).
The lotus with ordered petals functions like an inner liṅga-maṇḍala: Saguna Śiva is worshipped through specific forms (the eight Rudras) placed in a precise sequence, stabilizing the mind for deeper realization.
A dhyāna/nyāsa-style practice: visualize a lotus, assign siddhis to the petals, Śaktis to the filaments, and contemplate the eight Rudras from the eastern petal onward while maintaining mantra-japa and steady awareness.
