लङ्काप्राकारारोहणम् / Assault on Lanka’s Ramparts and the Opening Clash
शिखरैर्विकिरामैनांलङ्कांमुष्टिभिरेववा ।इतिस्मदधिरेसर्वेमनांसिहरियूथपाः ।।।।
śikharair vikirāma enāṃ laṅkāṃ muṣṭibhir eva vā |
iti sma dadhire sarve manāṃsi hariyūthapāḥ ||
Sa puso ng lahat ng pinunong-hukbo ng mga hari ay ito ang pasya: “Dudurugin namin ang Laṅkā—kung hindi man sa mga tuktok ng bundok na aming pupunitin, kahit sa aming mga hubad na kamao.”
