लङ्कानिरीक्षणं व्यूहविन्यासश्च

पश्यमत्तविहाङ्गानिप्रलीनभ्रमराणिच ।कोकिलाकुलषण्डानिदोधवीतिशिवोऽनिलः ।।।।
paśya mattavihāṅgāni pralīnabhramarāṇi ca | kokilākulaṣaṇḍāni dodhavīti śivo 'nilaḥ ||6.24.12||
Masdan—naroon ang mga ibong mapagmalaki at ang mga pulutong ng bubuyog na nalulunod sa mga bulaklak; ang mga kumpol na hitik sa mga kukuko’y umuugoy habang ang banayad at mapagpalang simoy ng hangin ay marahang yumayanig sa kanila.
"You may see the trees shaking violently by the pleasant breeze, inhabited by proud birds, drunken honeybees and crowded with cuckoos and other birds (Rama said to Lakshmana)."
