लङ्कानिरीक्षणं व्यूहविन्यासश्च

इतिदाशरथीरामोलक्ष्मणंसमभाषत ।बलंचतद्वैविभजन् शास्त्रदृष्टेनकर्मणा ।।।।
iti dāśarathī rāmo lakṣmaṇaṃ samabhāṣata | balaṃ ca tad vai vibhajan śāstradṛṣṭena karmaṇā ||6.24.13||
Gayon nagsalita si Rāma, anak ni Daśaratha, kay Lakṣmaṇa; at ayon sa mga paraang itinuro ng mga śāstra, kanyang hinati at inayos ang hukbo upang italaga sa kani-kaniyang gawain.
Dasaratha's son Rama thus talked to Lakshmana in that manner and asked to divide the task of the army in accordance with what is said in sastras.
Righteous action is disciplined action: even in war, Rāma follows śāstric order and proper procedure, showing that means matter as much as ends.
After speaking with Lakṣmaṇa, Rāma organizes the Vānara forces and assigns duties according to established strategic norms.
