Dvādaśī-vrata: Month-by-month Viṣṇu Worship and the Year-End Udyāpana
Sanatkumāra (in instruction to Nārada, within the Nārada–Sanatkumāra dialogue)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents the saint (sādhu) as a benefactor of both self and society: by worshiping Viṣṇu and giving varied instruction, the sādhu awakens deluded minds and leads them to inner clarity (prasāda).
Bhakti is shown as practical and compassionate: devotees of Viṣṇu not only pursue their own liberation but actively guide others through upadeśa, transforming confusion into serenity and devotion.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught in this verse; the practical emphasis is on upadeśa (instruction) and dhārmic guidance as applied spiritual pedagogy.
