dṛśyaṃte bhāsvarai ratnaiḥ praskhalaṃto vibhūṣaṇaiḥ | tāndṛṣṭvā rāvaṇaḥ prāha prahastaṃ pratihārakam

เขาทั้งหลายปรากฏสุกสว่างด้วยรัตนะอันเจิดจ้า; เครื่องประดับเลื่อนหลุดกระทบกันดังกรุ๊งกริ๊ง. ครั้นราวณะเห็นแล้ว จึงตรัสแก่ประหัสดะ ผู้เป็นประติหารก (มหาดเล็กเฝ้าประตู).
