भगवन्डिंडि रूपेण कश्चिदस्ति तपोधनः । विध्वंसनाय दाराणां प्रविष्टः किल भिक्षितुम्

bhagavanḍiṃḍi rūpeṇa kaścidasti tapodhanaḥ | vidhvaṃsanāya dārāṇāṃ praviṣṭaḥ kila bhikṣitum

ข้าแต่ภควัน มีตบะธนผู้หนึ่ง ผู้มั่งคั่งด้วยตบะ แปลงกายเป็นรูปที่เรียกว่า ‘ฑิณฑิ’ ดังเล่ากันว่า ได้ย่างเข้า (เรือนของเรา) เพื่อขอบิณฑบาต แต่มีเจตนาจะก่อความพินาศแก่ภรรยาของเรา
