ahiṃsāsadṛśaṃ puṇyaṃ dānātsaṃcayanaṃ param | tapaścānaśanānnāsti tathā tīrthaniṣevaṇāt

ไม่มีบุญใดเสมอด้วยอหิงสา และไม่มีการสั่งสมใดสูงกว่าทาน ไม่มีตบะใดเสมอด้วยการอดอาหาร และไม่มีสิ่งใดเทียบได้กับการไปพึ่งพาและบำเพ็ญตน ณ ตีรถะด้วยศรัทธา
