tato hataṃ balaṃ dṛṣṭvā rururmāyāmathā'sṛjat | tāmasīṃnāma deveśi tayāmuhyata naiva sā

ครั้นเห็นกองทัพของตนถูกสังหาร ดานวะรুরুจึงปล่อยมนตร์ลวงชื่อ ‘ตามสี’ คือความมืด; แต่โอ้เทวีแห่งเหล่าเทพ นางหาได้หลงกลมายานั้นไม่เลย
