क्षीरिणी वापि चित्रा गौस्तत्क्षीरायद्घृतं भवेत् । तद्दौहित्रमिति प्रोक्तं दैवे पित्र्ये च कर्मणि
kṣīriṇī vāpi citrā gaustatkṣīrāyadghṛtaṃ bhavet | taddauhitramiti proktaṃ daive pitrye ca karmaṇi
จากโคผู้ให้น้ำนม—แม้จะเป็นโคด่าง—เนยใส (ฆฤตะ) ใดที่เกิดจากน้ำนมนั้น เรียกว่า “เทาหิตระ (dauhitra)”. เนยใสนี้สรรเสริญให้ใช้ทั้งในพิธีบูชาเทพและพิธีบรรพชน (ปิตฤยะ)
