vedavyāsastato jajñe jātūkarṇyapuraḥsaraḥ | tatraiva navamo viṣṇuraditeḥ kaśyapātmajaḥ

ต่อมาพระเวทวยาสได้อุบัติ โดยมีฤๅษีชาตูกัรณยะเป็นผู้นำหน้า ณ ที่นั้นเอง ปางที่เก้าของพระวิษณุได้บังเกิดเป็นบุตรของอทิติ คือโอรสของกาศยปะ
