pūrvakarmānusaṃyogādvikarmaṇi rataḥ sadā | tasyāṃ rātryāmahaṃ tatra janamadhye tu saṃsthitaḥ

ด้วยความเกี่ยวเนื่องแห่งผลกรรมก่อน ข้าพเจ้ามักหมกมุ่นอยู่กับการกระทำอันผิดเสมอ; แต่ในคืนนั้น ข้าพเจ้าอยู่ที่นั่น ยืนท่ามกลางหมู่ชน
