शक्र उवाच । वृत्रेण निर्जिताः सर्वे वयं ब्राह्मणसत्तम । स वध्यो नहि शस्त्राणां सर्वेषां वरपुष्टितः
śakra uvāca | vṛtreṇa nirjitāḥ sarve vayaṃ brāhmaṇasattama | sa vadhyo nahi śastrāṇāṃ sarveṣāṃ varapuṣṭitaḥ
ศักระกล่าวว่า: “โอ้พราหมณ์ผู้ประเสริฐยิ่ง พวกเราทั้งหมดพ่ายแพ้แก่ฤตระแล้ว เขาได้รับกำลังจากพร จึงไม่อาจถูกสังหารด้วยศัสตราใดๆ เลย”
